Let me get really transparent this morning. THIS ISH GETS RAW.

ADDICTION IS UGLY. FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED. 💥


It turns people you've known your entire life, into strangers.


For the person at the center of it all, shame, guilt, jail, rehab. Cycles of hurt, anger, drugs, chaos, days on end.😥


When I finally realized there's not a thing I can do to change someone else's decisions, or the trajectory of their life.


I WAS HEART BROKEN AND HELPLESS.💔


Answering the phone just to say "I hope you're doing ok." ❤


The bottom line is, whether it's drugs, food, video games, ONLY THAT PERSON CAN CHANGE.💣


THEY HAVE TO BE COMMITTED TO LEARNING & PRACTICING NEW HABITS THAT ARE HEALTHY FOR THEM, & HELP THEM COPE WITH ADVERSITY.💣


The COMMITMENT to CHANGE has to REMAIN STRONGER THAN THE ABUSE.💣


And get this, ADDICTION DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE.💣


🔊The support through this decision is VITAL.🔊


It's a process, and it's easy for the people around them to think "oh everything's ok now"


NO, IT'S A DAILY THING, AND RELAPSE IS WAITING AROUND EVERY OBSTACLE.

MANY RELAPSE, FOR THE LAST TIME. 💔


On behalf of those grieving the loss of a loved one, I ask YOU, keep extending love.❤❤❤


SHOW UP & DROP OFF DINNER, GO PICK UP THE CHILDREN FOR THE AFTERNOON.


SIMPLY STATE "I'm here if you need to talk"

This is a new way of life for them, all you can do is keep extending LOVE. THE TANGIBLE ACTS OF CARE FOR & LOVE. ❤
