So many people will tell you it will be ok. To process your feelings, kids are resilient they’ll be fine.
See the thing about those people is that they don’t know loss in the capacity as you, or I. The thing is you don’t process and in a year everything’s back to normal.
You will live grieving, every day, in a phase of your new life.
“ What you do with it, is certainly what will make or break you.”
For many of us, it is vital that we stay intentional with the ways we learn to cope with the emotions and waves that do all but drowned us.
It is important that we recognize, identify why, and engage with our grief.
It helps no one when we decide to stuff it. Progress. You have to recognize your progress and celebrate the wins. Affirmations mean everything, and a lot of times they come from yourself. You have to cheer for yourself, your fighting battles no one even know exist. I’ll say it, it’s down right exhausting making every single decision for my girls and I. I deserve to celebrate the small wins and decide when it’s not worth the fight. YOU DO TOO!
I started meditating on several different affirmations that made me intentional about looking grief in the face and taking care of myself.
I put them together to share with you here: https://mailchi.mp/63fba712250b/affirmations
