Uh wake up it's 2019 suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in adolescence ages 10-24 WE'RE NOT HELPING ANYTHING by being DISCONNECTED, turning a blind eye, and pretending like we're not human and all struggle at some point with something. . . For me, it happens to be grief. It happens that their was a long, hard road BEFORE Keethans death. Turmoil, rage, addiction, long lonely nights, questions I never got answers to. This is the reality. The reality is 70,237 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States in 2017. The age-adjusted rate of overdose deaths increased significantly by 9.6% from 2016- Keethan died December 9th 2016. . . So sorry, not sorry if YOU feel a little uncomfortable. . . All I have to say about that is, addiction can grab anyone and change them into a stranger. In many cases, you'll never even know it. So know, although I hope you never have to, you can always refer here. . . Since I have learned to navigate the waves of grief, live a new version of myself, and guide others. I will keep sharing.
